I have a small (12V) (pc cpu fan) and i wanted to eliminate the noise in introdices to the DC supply line . I think all i need is just a capacitor in paralel with the fan. isnt that right ?
But what capacitance would be best ? like 10uf ?

yes in parallel, try some smaller values ... 0.1uF or 0.01uF
you will probabaly have to do some experimenting to get the best value

I would probably start with 0.1uF -- but Dave beat me to it :)

And because their ESR value is lower. And because they generally have a lower inductance.

All of those things combine to get better performance at higher frequencies.
