Hi,

I'm currently working on my first led diode configuration for a large diorama. The layout contains a3.7v lithium aa in a single battery holder designed for 1.5v connected to a wireless remote that requires minimum 3.7v and then runs on to 5 3mm white diodes with resistors done in parallel.

My question is will the battery holder have problems with the higher voltage and eventually melt? I'm sorry if this is incredibly basic. I didn't know where else to turn. Thank you for your time.

almost every question of this type will be answered by the manufacturers datasheet of the part in question.
If the 3 mm white LEDs draw 20 milliamps each. 20 milliamps × 5=100 milliamps.
Keep track of how many LEDs in addition to the five LEDs the current will add up if you increase the number of LEDs but as the man said, "the battery holder will work just fine." Do you have a brand name for your lithium-ion battery so I can check the specifications?
