70014BB ICs

I cam across this website trying to find info on these ICs, and I HAD to join when I saw you wrote that your Ford dealer wasn't a help. I'm trying to repair an original head unit on my Ford Taurus, which is a premium sound stereo from 1989. I went to a dealer for any TSB's (Technical Service Bulletins) and they said they used to have lots of these premium stereo radios fail, and they would send them to a place in San Diego called Auto Radio Specialists. Over time I have acquired 3 premium sound stereos, one of which is a 1990 or '91 model year which technical works, but has tabs on the sides so it mounts differently than the earlier models like mine, and it also sounds extremely disappointing compared to the Alpine tape deck I'm currently using. I discovered that on the 90 or 91 head unit that the driver ICs are ST, which is different than the other two head units I have, so I think that the 70014BB ICs are faulty, but the ST ICs are not. The Ford part number is N700014OFBBABA. I've typed that very carefully: there are 3 zeros and a letter O. I think they went bad because they weren't mounted on heat sinks. Where are you at on your project?

JBL premium amplifier

I totally recognize those connectors on the board. I have 2 that are perfectly good and I don't want either of them. These were very common in many Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles equipped with the premium sound stereo system, but are relatively weak by today's standards, putting out 20 watts per channel. I'm planning on replacing my factory amp with an Alpine that I have. My current tape deck makes 35 watts per channel, which is excellent, but I really want the original style head unit, so I'll use that once and if I can repair it.

Ford pays to own the rights to part numbers in their gear, no matter who makes them.
You'd have to be lucky enough to find somebody who can cross the part numbers,
I never have.
When this happens, I check Craigslist & Ebay, and try to find the same make and
model to strip parts from.
Frankly, you're probably just going to have to buy a new replacement.

I have two Harris ICs in my power amplifier, and need to replace them. Unfortunately, I can not find a datasheet or any information for them. It's as if they fell off the face of the earth.

It looks to be a TO-220 package, three leads, plastic body with metal tab.

Labeling has the Harris logo (white background forming a black capital letter H), and:

3101FAAA
H3 16

(logo) XS

Any help with either a datasheet or a workable substitute for this piece would be greatly appreciated!

Hello. I see the post is quite old, but do you still need this? I just parted an amplifier like yours out, it also had burned resistors and I don't know the values. On the web I can't find a thing so it is beyond repair (as a matter of fact I ended up here while searching)
So if you need specific components from it let me know Cheers
