onkyo amplifier

hi to all members,
i have an onkyo ampli model TX-DS676, the trouble is that this thing will wont power on, i mean that upon plugging to the outlet, it will just stanby and sometimes it will turn on for several minutes and will resume to stanby again, any one has an idea? thanks

Is the unit still under warranty?
One of my friends had the same problem. It was repaired under warranty, but the shop
refused to say what had gone wrong with it. As soon as the warranty ended, it died
the same way. My friend was so mad, he threw his away. I've heard Onkyo is supposed
to be a high-end company, but I haven't heard anything good about support from them.
