Hi Everyone,

I am currently using the AD811SQ device on a project and am seeing different performances when I use another device (same type).

The different types are listed below:

AD811SQ 883BQ 1408B

AD811SQ 883BQ 1418A

AD811SQ 883BQ 0949B

I have just read the ID of the chip.

The differences are the last 5 digits on the chip.

Can anyone confirm what the difference between a 1408B, 1418A and 0949B is?

Is this just a batch/ date stamp. The data sheet doesnt show these 5 digits.

Cheers,
Stuart

Probably a date code. 1408 would be the 8th week of 2014. A/B might be the production facility.

ADI is an exceptionally friendly company to deal with. Contact them.

What's your application. Is this a specific critical application?
Maybe you're within the tolerance of the devices.
I'm pretty sure you're asking about the component date code:
1408B is mfgr date 2014, 8th week of manufacture
1418B is probably 2014, 18th week of mfgr. and
0949B is probably 2009, 49th week of manufacture.
The 'A' and 'B' might be revision numbers, or possibly temperature coefficient ranges.
The manufacturer spec sheet should give you the ID number break-down.
I don't remember off the top of my head what the 883 designation means, but most of my mil spec parts have that written on them.
This'll be easier if you give us the manufacturer name (or logo). Be aware that there are a lot of Chinese clones out there that won't meet OEM specs.
