Its two inverters inverting each other through coupling capacitors.
Its the design I was always trying to get to work.
So with the help of this new style of inverter which I call a "battery toggler" I can now employ transistors with it. (So its compatable with them.) The transistors helped it work, it can run without the transistors but it doesnt have enough umph to recharge back the capacitor from the other capacitor.
I was always trying to do it without transistors, and I still want to do it, theres some way to get it to work, but this proves the idea is good, its pretty similar to the astable multivibrator, just my own concoction.
Its taken me an embarressing amount of time to get this to work, its been 10 years, I just got sick in the head from smoking then I couldn't think straight for a long time, but I kept at it, and getting on falstad helped me alot, I came up with the "battery toggler" and then I finally was able to employ the transistor to get the amp it needed.
There may be a way to do it without the transistors, and now I'm going to look in this direction.
But i'm probably going to wiire this one up in real life soon, cause its going to be handy having my own reconfigurable oscillator without having to buy a 555, just a couple of npn transistors will do!!!
