Hi:
My camcorder was packed in my hard sided suitcase and must have suffered
a pretty sever jolt as now the tape eject mechanism seems to be jammed.
When I press the tape eject button, I hear the motor run, as it always
did, then a clicking sound (which it never did), a pause for about 5
seconds, and then it shuts itself off. The tape door never opens and I
never hear the release mechanism activated. Any suggestion on how to
mechanically persuade the tape door to open so I can inspect the inside?
Any suggestions are really appreciated.
