Long story short, in a move, I lost all 6 of my handsets that were registered to the base KX-TG9341T. I was given a working KX-TGEA20 handset and charging station. I'd like to register this to my base, but I am unable to do so. I think this is because there were already 6 handsets registered to the base. I can't unregister them without actually having at least one in my possession, which I don't have. I know this new handset is not listed as compatible with the base, but I was told that DECT 6 handsets can even be registered with other brands of phones. The charging contacts are different, but as I stated i have a charging station, so that isn't a problem for me.

I'm thinking there should be a way to reset the base station, but extensive searching has come up with nothing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Pop the base station open and have a look for any links that may be associated with a 'reset' function - much like clearing the CMOS in a PC perhaps?

There are four small openings in the bottom of the base cover that expose 4, what I think, are test points on the internal circuit board. These could possibly do a reset, but I'd just be guessing as to what to do with them.

Which is why I suggested you pop the unit open!

Post a pic of the board (top side and bottom side) and there's a good chance we can figure out if there is such a facility.

The 4 test points that I mentioned are VCC, Gnd, TX and RX, so i doubt a reset can be done here.

Seems as if you're going to have to try some serial port reading! I can't see any other way of changing the parameters.

That may be a little more than I'm willing to get into, but I really do appreciate your help.
