Hi All,

My grandma loses her car in the parking lot all the time. Is there a
cheap device that she can put in the car, sthg like a radio, to locate
the car.

Thanks,
Adam

If she has an electronic alarm with a horn that beeps when locked, you
can just simply keep pressing the lock button. If you hold the
key-sender up in the air, they can usually go about 70 to 100 feet.

The elaborate way is to get a GPS, take a reading and Waypoint the
location of the car. After she comes out, she can get a GPS lock, and
tell it to home in on the saved waypoint. This will work to within a
few feet to the position waypointed. With this method, she can go
anywhere in the world, and locate that car with incredible accuracy!

The cheap way is to get a large ping-pong ball, and paint it
florescent green or orange. Have a good AM radio antenna on the car,
and mount this florescent ball on the end of the antenna. You won't
miss that for sure.

Antenna ball, helium balloon, chirping car alarm with fob remote.

No disrespect to granny, but if she's losing her car, perhaps driving
it isn't such a good idea.
