I have purchased an evaluation board which has a 5 pin .025 square male connectors on .1 headers. I have been searching for a mating part. I have been on Jameco and Digikey web sites and am going insane using the websites to find a mating part. Can anyone suggest an intelligent website where I can purchase these parts?

Headers with 0.1 in spacing are probably the most common connector.

However there are many variations. mostly due to providing some means of polarisation.

You really need to provide a photo.

I assume you're looking t something like this:

Quite often they don't have that bend in them.

Unfortunately, I don't know the name of the female connector that allows you to attach a cable to it :(

But first, let's find out if it's the right style :)

Pins

My pins are straight with no locking or polarization.

I'd have the answer for you right now if I knew what they were called :D

I'm sure someone else will make me look very stoopid by giving you the obvious answer :p
