PCB layout help!

I m trying to create a PCB layout of IC AD9833 as mentioned in the datasheet.
I am using eagle software for the same.
AD9833 has a MSOP package with 10 pins.
I found the package in the library but the the line trace, grid is not adjustable to distinguish the adjacent pins. i mean to say that whenever i m trying to lay a track, the track goes to 1st , 3rd or 5th pin of that IC. it doesnot go to 2nd and 4th pin even if i set trace(width) to lowest.

I've not used eagle, but does it have some sort of snap grid? It sounds like the grid is to large. You need to (possibly) halve the distance between points.
