Peterson 520 strobe tuner

Hello all. I was wondering if anyone here knew of a company familiar working on older Peterson strobe tuners such as the 520 model. The Peterson company no longer will work on them. Any help is greatly appreciated

Does your unit presently have a problem-quirk . . . . . . needing to be fixed ?
Or is this just for prepping for future repair situations ?
If techno referencing is needed for repairs . . . or + our tutelage . . . .

The Peterson currently has a small quirk. I went for approximately a decade without turning it on. When I recently activated it the strobe appeared not to pick up any sound, even with an external mic. However, I gave it a couple of light snacks and now it is picking up sound but the screen isn't showing the results as enhanced as it should. I've ordered a replacement, but id like to get this fixed if possible. I have the original schematics... Is this something any electrical engineering could fix, or does it take someone who knows about strobes. Thank you for taking the time to respond

LCD? Banging it likely dislodged the connections to the display or even damaged the display. Post a pic of the display and we might be able to tell. A fix is possible.

Yeah there is something going on with the display. if I tap the box with my fingers it will go off and I can tap it to come back on. Is this an easy fix.the first pic is of the Peterson 520. I'm going to add another pic of a working Peterson 450 so you can have a working baseline to compare the malfunction 520 to.
