Hi guys. I've got a quiz buzzer circuit that is designed to output to a basic piezoelectric buzzer. What I really want to be able to do is to output to a jack connector (to be able to plug it into a sound system to amplify a buzzer sound). Any ideas on what I'd need to do to be able to do this?

Hi Ken...I've attached both the circuit diagram and the stripboard layout.

Thanks,
Mark

Unfortunately the "buzzer"sound is produced within the buzzer module. The rest of 555 circuits only turn it on or off. I suppose you could mechanically attach a small microphone to the buzzer and connect that to you sound system. You could also make a simple astable oscillator circuit with another 555, and connect that through a capacitor and volume control the the sound system, replacing the buzzer.
