Hi all,

What's the reason why I can use a standard audio amplifier on a
piezoelectric speaker? I have a hunch that it has to do with the
speaker being similar to a capacitor wherein high frequency signals
"see" less impedance compared to lower ones (?).

Also, any other design tips regarding piezoelectric speakers?

Thanks!

I mean "can't use a standard audio amplifier." Never mind this
question. I found a good ebook on Ceramic Speakers at
http://audio.national.com. It is a very intersting read.

Unfortunately, it's in some incompatible proprietary format and they
want me to download a "reader" program - worse, a browser plugin, to
view it. Garbage.
