I have a vintage Pioneer VSX-D701S receiver that was purchased overseas and is voltage selectable for 110-240 VAC. During a recent move, the rotary switch was lost and the receiver won't power up without the missing part. The part is no longer available from Pioneer. Is there a way to solder jumpers on the back of the switch to be 120 VAC only? I don't have a service manual or schematics. I appreciate any assistance from the experts, Thank you.

From 1 manual I found, there seems to be a requirement for BOTH the slide switch AND the rotary switch to be in the correct range.
So for 110v operation for starters, the slide switch needs to be in the upper position which is the 110, 120 and 127v position.
Then the rotary switch needs to be set to one of those settings ONLY.

Having lost the selector makes it difficult and I would suggest, near impossible if you don't have some electronics experience.
The manual I found was online here ........I'm not about to join up to get your diagrams for you but others here may possibly have that access and be able to suggest the correct jumpers to fit..........(73's de Edd will probably see this and answer)
