Point me in the right direction

I want to build a number of Li battery single cell chargers.

Maxim have the Max1501 that comes in a 5*5mm Thin QFN package

Can anyone point me in the direction of info as to how to an amateur could
(if it is possible) solder this chip to a pcb with out investing in much
more than my current soldering iron.

A normal soldering iron is all right. The pcb just has somewhat
smaller tracks.
