Been searching all week and just came across this forum! Hoping to get some clarification on a project I am working on.

I am replacing some LED headlights in a Polaris RZR XP with some better LED headlights. Each headlight has 4 separate LED lights (see pic). 2 are "spot" optics and 2 are "flood" The "spot" act as high beams and the "floods" as low beams.

The stock headlights have a switch that does off/low/high and from what I can tell just increases power to the stock headlights to make them brighter.

I would like to use the stock button to make these new lights work. I found some information from a RZR forum and I sent a message to the guy that posted it for clarification and he never got back to me.

He said "All you need is a simple Bosch relay and a diode. The relay is triggered by the high beam wire to drive the low beam while switch is in high position. The diode is in line from the relays wire that drives the low beam to keep it from feeding back to the high beam. "

Any ideas on how to make this work?
