It appears to be a 10K, did you measure it?
Usually at that value it is linear, not logarithmic track.

What is the function of the board you are repairing ?

Remove the pot from the board and dismantle it - there are only a couple of 'tabs' holding the thing together and you might even be able to see the cause of the problem and fix it. I've done a similar fix to a pot in the past.

10 K linear taper . . . . . no audio is being involved here !
Look at the very top of your pic and see the square indentation pressed into the metal shell.
Fold back . . . . straighten . . . . the 4 tabs compressing the back metal cylindrical shell . . . . and additionally possibly one or both of the locking tabs that drop into a recessed hole to keep the WHOLE pot from spinning in case of a control nut loosage.
NEITHER of which is applicable here, since it is being PCB mounted.!
Then, with visible access to its innards you can see WHY the internal arm protrusion that rotates in unison with your pots rotor mechanism is not touching and stopping rotation when being blocked by hitting that internal indentation, causing both end stops of rotation.
Take mechanical correction of the fault . . . . . unless possibly being of irreparable plastic construction . . . use of ( alpha cyanoacrylate or watery epoxy ? )

Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasit . . . . .

Any time things appear to be going better . . . . . you have definitively overlooked something.
