Hello, I would like to repair an old stereo amplifier but some composant still unknow for me, also because I'm a beginner with Electronics here is one I think its a 5W 18ohm power resistor but I'm not sure, if someone know exactly it could be so helpful
Thank you in advance !

Welcome to electronicspoint

I think it is a 5W 0.18Ω 5% tolerance
Probably used to measure current with low voltage drop.

Hi Hector
welcome to EP :)

Duke37 is correct

For your learning, Hector, the R denotes the position of the decimal point
so for this one it shows 0R18 = 0.18 Ohms
if it was 1R8, for example it would be 1.8 Ohms

cheers
Dave

Messr HectorP . . . . .

Looks like it might have its LIKE companion just behind it, and with them serving as emitter resistors on the amps power audio output stage.

Since that is such a low value of resistor to be reading, a wise consideration would be to clean your probe tips and rotate the other ends connectors at the meter and then short the test leads probe tips together to get your series loops resistance and then read the resistor and subtract the prior resistance error that was being being introduced.
Why do I think that both of them are going to be good ?
Give us Model and brand of the unit if you need further help.

Those components rarely fail unless they genuinely LOOK as if they've failed! Brown.... smelly etc! If they measure 'short circuit' then they're 'good-to-go' and you need to look elsewhere for the fault.

Basically they are either open circuit or working......
