Problems with simulating a metal detector in Multisim

My metal detector schematics in MultiSim are showing incorrect readings on Oscilloscope. In reality they make fuzzy, but sinusoidal waves in the range of 1,6-2V. In simulation they make weird spiky waveforms that are measured in few dozen fV.

What could be the problem here?
I've tried simulating with a transformer instead of 2 inductors because they are coupled in reality when a metal object appears.

I'm not a Multisim expert. The following I take from experience with LTSPICE and a quick web search:
Separate inductors will not work. The simulator would not be able to simulate the mutual inductance between the two.
You need to use an additional "inductor_coupling" statement (see this link).
