I have a ZANTEC PROWATT 3000 inverter whose input was momentarily hooked up to reversed polarity 12vdc. Small pop, then dead as a doornail. I've been trying to get a schematic thru Zantec but I have yet to talk to anyone, just hours of elevator music. Any have some incite on this? Thanks.

xantrex reverse power 12vdc

OK, sorry to hear you reversed the input 12vdc power to the xantrex. You blew the internal fuses. If you take the case apart you will see the blow fuse. Might need to soldier out old and in with the new.

Wow, this thread is almost 4 years old!. Anyhoo, there was ten 25 amp fuses inside, all toast. They were automotive fuses but soldered in. Changed 'em and it's been working fine ever since. Thx 4 responding.
