Audioguru - I ran across this article yesterday, and it explains the effect(s) of two options of wiring volume potentiometers --> see the paragraph "NOTE" down in the article. I don't understand the logic creating the differing effects (signal input center pot lug vs. side lug / independent vs. non-independent volume control). There are other articles but thought this concise explanation was best here. It is something new for me, and I'll be digging a little deeper later on.
