Question about online electronics provider

Hey, has anyone here heard about these guys: http://alltronics.com/ ?
They have a good price on some items I need but their "selling outta
my garage" look doesnt exactly give me the warm fuzzies about giving
them my credit card number... so I was just wondering if anyone had
any experience with them, and could tell me what you thought about
'em. Thanks in advance! =)

Alltronics is a legitimate outfit. They've been around for years, selling
surplus electronics and electromechanical at great prices. I've ordered from
them with no problems. Just remember that they're selling surplus. That can
mean several things, most of which don't make any difference for the home
hobbyist. Read the description of the part carefully. Also, when they run
out, they may not be able to get more, so if you're going to spec a part, make
sure the people who made it are still in business, and that it's not a
discontinued item.

Good luck

I've ordered from them, and got exactly what I was expecting in a timely
fashion.
Highly recommended.

They look like they're about twice the cost of the other electronics
stores, from what little I saw. What kind of stuff do you need?
There are many online stores with good peices, and there are a lot of
vendors on Ebay. Try www.mouser.com, www.digikey.com, for surplus try
www.mpja.com, www.allcorp.com, etc. The last two sell surplus, so you
may get used stuff. Go to ebay's electronic components and pick an
auction, and click on one of the vendor's online stores. There are
many choices.
