Are CR2032 batteries over time at risk of leaking and releasing some corrosive liquid onto electronic board pcb and corroding them? Do these batteries have some type of chemical acidic electrolytic that can leak when they are old?

Yes, but usually after very many years

There two qualities of batteries:
1) Good ones made by name Brand companies in Europe or North America.
2) Cheap ones made by no-name-brand companies in China.
Guess which ones leak.

The datasheet for an Energizer CR2032 says "Lithium / Manganese Dioxide (Li/MnO2)".
"They are guaranteed not to leak or they will replace your device".
They have a "Do Not Eat It" warning.
8 years storage life.

If you use a cheap battery that was made "over there" then of course it will leak. High quality batteries are guaranteed not to leak.

Hmm, I can't say that I have a lot (or any that I can recall) products with multiple CR2032 in series, but of the several things with a single CR2032, i have never had one leak, even motherboards now over 20 years old with the original battery still in them. Granted, I don't check those daily to see how they are doing, but built many systems for others at the time and have a lot of them so I'd notice.

IMO, leaking is far more likely with alkalines. Duracells for example are supposedly high quality but I wouldn't leave those in anything for more than a few months.

My Duracell Ni-MH batteries are made in China and my Energizer ones are made in Japan. Guess which ones are poor quality and leak?

^ I mean Duracell alkaline. The only NiMH I've ever had leak were some no-name brand that I bought as NOS surplus, which were already crusty inside the sealed blister pack. I got a refund for those.

NiMH, I have many AA Tenergy Centura made in China, in regular use and haven't had any problem, leakage or otherwise, but any generic brand made in China that weren't LSD, I just stopped using because the self discharge rate was terrible.

I'm with dave9 & Audioguru. I suppose it's possible, but I'VE never seen an Energizer CR2032 leak.
I will mention this however:
I always bought Energizer batteries from brick and mortar US stores, no problem.
I got stupid and bought a couple packages of 'Energizer' rechargeable NiMH AA batteries from Amazon, and they failed within months.
The outside of the battery labeling appeared authentic, but I'd bet my bottom dollar they were Chinese fakes.
Went to the local store and bought replacement Energizer rechargeable MiMH AA batteries, and no problem since.
My point is, beware WHERE you get your 'non-chinese' batteries from. No matter what the outside labeling looks like.

What is the composition of cr2032? undergoes chemical reactions and turns into corrosive?

I saw these pictures on the internet
