Hello,

What is your budget?
What size of SSD are you looking for?

Cheap SSD drives can be made using old technology.
The old technology seems to wear-out sooner and the new ones.

I would still go for major brands like Samsung, San Disk, Crucial or Western Digital.

I have a 500 Gb SSD NVMe as disk for the linux operating system and a Toshiba 2 Tb HDD for data.

"Cheap" means low quality and poor reliability. Is that what you want?

Cheap can mean many things but usually it means lower performance, particularly if they omit a DRAM cache, and could also mean counterfeit or false capacity rating.

Recognize that flash chips are a large part of the construction cost and a highly sought after global commodity and shouldn't be cheaper in China, unlike many things. A good Chinese SSD would not cost enough less to be worthwhile, especially if there is no way to get warranty service from a US location.
