Hi,
Was keeping a remanufactured car computer for a 1993 model car in my trunk and found it wet (some pretty heavy storms recently.)
I unscrewed it to clean/dry/see the extent of damage. While doing this I removed my fleece vest and noticed some static discharge when I touched circuit board.
I am wondering if there is any simple way to test it w/o plugging into car, because I have learned that plugging in a damaged electronic item can mess up other stuff. My plan is to clean and dry it first since I noticed a few parts that look damaged from the water.
Thanks for any additional thoughts.
