Quick question (I hope) about LTspice

I have a circuit that I have built a few times and would like to see if I can tweek it a bit better by simulating it in LTspice. What I don't know how to do, being a relative beginner with LTspice, is how to get the voltage source to sweep from 0vdc to 18vdc over a period of time (1sec would suffice).

Any suggestions??

THANKS. I'll give it a try. I had looked in the Yahoo group for LTspice and really couldn't glean any info that I understood. Those guys were talking wayyy over my head.

I'm still getting what I was before. Perhaps I should clarify my question. What I am getting now (and before) is that both the X & Y axis show volts during the sweep. It starts at 0vdc and ends at 12vdc. Not a problem. What I need is the Y axis to show volts and the X axis show time.

OK...I figured it out on my own. If I set it up as a DC pulse and not a DC sweep, it will show Y axis as volts and X axis as time.

What you want is probably not a DC sweep but a transient simulation (voltage versus time). See the atttached example (zipped).

Thanks for the effort but, I believe that it's a mute point now. What it comes down to is that I can't find a free model of a DC motor and this project isn't worth throwing any more money at other than parts. And it's questionable at that ;) The circuit I have now works fine. I just thought that I might play a bit with it.
