Friends, are there relays that toggles on and off that uses no power to hold either position, that only uses current to make the change??

I want to hide small, flat surface mount momentary buttons underneath the upholstery for secret functions.

I am a knuube of sorts I took a one year Basic Electronics course thirty one years ago and never did anything with it. I understand what the components do but I don't know the circuitry of any particular field i.e. audio, radio or Chronometric Particle Emitter.

The magnetic pulse latching relays have memory, needs a reverse DC pulse to unlatch.

I would think there may be an easy way to do something like this with hall effects/reed switch. You would be able to momentarily turn something on or off with only a magnet. Might be a solution depending on the rest of the circuit?

I bet the relay module shown requires continuous current to keep it in one of its two states :(.

I will not bet against you. The datasheet of the relay on this PCB gives no indication of being a latched type.

As recommended in post #3 by Minder look for a latching relay.
Thank you for your reply, I have looked at Latching relays but I don't have internet get tired sitting on the corner using the Hotspot, my internet connection should be up by the end of the week, then I can do some real research
