Remote Control Circuit Board

First post

FYI i cant return it just for the remote control (the tv tuner works and thats what matters here ) the remote is secondary.

i got a tv tuner online and it came with a remote control. It takes two AAA batteries, after getting and trying several pairs the remote simply will not work. i ran through this guide here on testing the continuity of the device

and it uploaded some videos to youtube showing me doing this. It fails from what i can tell but the circuit board looks clean to me except maybe one glossy area but im not sure.

My question is what should be my next step be? re solder the few joints ?

put the remote back to gether and it worked some how. no worries thanks if anyone saw this

some one on another thread asked for me to verify if you cna see the LED turn off if pressing buttons through a camera and whatta ya know it was blinking so thats prompted me to put back together and it worked.
