hi im doing a little project that will use a series of relays and switches
i see loads of multiple chanel relay modules in 5v and 12v for arduino these will do exactly what i want as they have both normally open and normally closed outputs on the switched side so i can power on and off indicator led's , however , i was hoping to find SSR modules to do the same thing but all those i can find only have normally open contacts on the switched side? . can anyone point me in the direction of ssr modules with both normally open and normally closed

Many Thanks

have you looked on digi-key or farnell or mouser ?

what voltages and currents do you want to switch
is the switching voltage from the mpu 5V ?

What is the voltage, AC or DC on the output side, have you thought of putting together some simple ones based on a opto, 4n35 etc and a mosfet etc?

Switching side will be low voltage output side also 5v. Ultimately it's going to switch 230v but I'll use a separate relay for this.I've no idea what 4n35 or mosfet are

Thanks

If you just want simple SSR from 5v to ?, and ultimately trigger a relay, look at the Opto22 modules, they usually come very cheap on ebay, especially the legacy one, they have interface boards for 4,8,16,24 modules, 5v in and all kinds of output DC.AC etc.
If using a relay the inversion can be used there if needed?

Looks like I will have to go for the mechanical type relay modules as j need both the n/o and n/c contacts and really don't want additional components to add n/c

How reliable are theechanical type like these http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-2-4-8-16-...a4cb162fffbda195%7Ciid%3A2&varId=561656561194

Many thanks for the help and advice
