Look in your textbook at parallel resistance calculatons.

If this problem really stumps you, quit now.

r1 and r2 are in series...... you just add those two together for
equivalent resistance (R12)

Series equation
r1+r2=R12---> equivalent resistance

r4 and r5 are in series.... do the same for (R45)

then you have three parrallel resistances... R12, R45, and R3

Parallel equation
1/Rtotal=1/R12+1/R45+1/R5

Solve for Rtotal

Im no EE but your going to have to learn alot more complicated things
than this..... study up, study hard... not to put you down but this
should be a fundamental understanding

Here is a classical problem:
Take 12 equal-value resistors and connect them together to make a
cube-shaped circuit.
Calculate the resistance from the most distant points (across the body
diagonal of the cube).
Completely describe three or more different ways to calculate that
resistance and specify each and every step, giving the law or method
(Kirchoff, parallel equation, series equation, substitution type, etc).
If you can find six ways to do this, then you might learn something.
