I would like to know if it is safe to apply a small reverse voltage, only
5Vdc, to drain-source (Vgs=0V).
Is the channel still off in this condition?
I'm using Supertex TN0610 with 100V breakdown voltage.

Thanks!

In that situation, the body diode will conduct. Look in the datasheet
at Vsd (page 2). Forward diode voltage 0.8V - 1.8V (Vgs = 0V, Isd
1.5A).

It will behave like a diode
