Hi,
I have an old AIgo MP3 player, which refused to charge anymore with the original battery, 3 years back. I then, bought a new lipo of same parameters, 3.7v around 2500mAh.. But. For some reason, I didn't install it. Now, I checked with a multimeter, the battery showed 0V.. Also connecting it to the player and charging it didn't make any change. It still remained at 0v. After looking at some youtube videos, I connected a 9v battery to it, for about 10-15 mins. Now the battery shows 3.45V. Now, I connected the battery back to the player, and allowed it to charge for 6 hours. The player stayed on with the battery for about 3 mins before shutting down due to low battery.
My question is, should I continue charging my battery for a very long time with the player. I am just afraid that it might lead to overcharging and cause some explosion. Please guide me to revive the battery back!
Thanks in advance
