Howdy folks
I have a problem I need to find at least 9off 560uh rf chokes about the
size of a 1/4 w resistor. Nobody I have tried has them, can somone help?

Thank Lee.

What current carrying capacity? What maximum resistance can you tolerate?

less than 100ma as for maximum resistance its only driving a reed switch so
I am uncertain.

How is he going to cram a reed relay through that? I thought that Spock was
looking for a hollow bodied coil to drive a reed relay with.

Boris, if your assumption is correct one might ask "how does the OP
intend to cram a reed contact through a rf choke the size of a 1/4
watt resistor?" Surely he is not that optimistic?

If the OP was trying to find a "reed operating coil" I hardly think he
would have specified an "rf choke the size of a 1/4 watt resistor". My
reading of his request is that he is just looking for an rf
suppression choke to connect in series with the reed operating coil.

H also said "its only driving a reed switch.."

Yes I am looking for a rf choke the size of a 1/4 watt resistor, to more
precise I looking for 9 chokes.
They used in series with a Darlington transistor collector and is driving a
reed switch. I need these to repair a control board for a PLL. I hope this
clears that up.

Never seen that. What is the purpose of the choke? Do you have a flyback
diode across the reed coil?

i have seen that before, a choke used in series to the coil of a reed
relay when passing R.F. through the contacts of the reed.
the coil around the read is acting like a transformation effect of
EMF.

So, will the part I posted work for you?
It seems to have been lost in the debate
about craming a reed switch through the
size of a 1/4 watt resistor.
