I scrapped a flatbed scanner. It has a power supply capable of: +5DC @
2A, +24DC @ 1.6A, -15DC @ .3A and +15DC @ .3A. I have hooked a
florescent lamp driver module that was in the scanner with two of
those mini florescent lamps to a different 15 volt power supply and it
works but the lamps don't seem to fully fluoresce. When I hook it up
to this power supply's +24 and Gnd, the voltage driving the Lamp
driver starts to cut in and out at the rate of about 1 second flashing
the lamps on and off. Am I drawing too much current from the power
supply? I don't think so, but I don't know the rating of the lamp
driver circuit. Could the power supply be faulty? I have another Lamp
driver and it only consumes about 450 milliwatts with 2 lamps.

TIA for any info
