I bet this has been asked a thousand times - apologies.

I'm busy evaluating schematic/pcb design packages for my company. What do
you guys think is the best package available for a small company starting
out.

I've had a look at p-cad and was not overly impressed. Also checked out
eagle which wasn't too bad. Any other packages worth checking out?

Thanks

You'll forever be blamed for even the slightest difficulties arising from
this decision. Check out the cheaper packages, and mention them, but
recommend the investment of Orcad or Protel. So when they go with a cheap
option, they can't really come after you since they ignored your
recommendation.

That's what success in the business world's all about: instead of covering
your tail, find ways to never leave it hanging out in the first place.
There is always someone waiting to take a shot at you if it will make them
look better.
