Schematic Wanted RCA Signal generator kit

Yes it was a kit, probably back in the 50's. It's an RF and AF signal
generator made from a kit. Uses 1 12AX7. No model number on it. On
the front it says:

Signal Generator Kit

RCA INSTITUTES, INC NEW YORK, N.Y.


I know it's not the best signal generator, but my father built it and I
like to restore some of his old equipment.

I'd love a schematic if anyone can help.

Unfortunately they have lots of manuals and schematics for RCA test
equipment, but not this one.

In the RCA Tube Manuals, they often published example schematics of AM and
FM radios, audio amplifiers, and test equipment in the back of the book. I
suggest looking in these, probably in a book published in the 1950's or
early 1960's.

I don't have a schematic for the RCA Institues signal generator kit but I do have an assembled unit that's the next best thing.

Have you found a schematic for the RCA Signal Generator Kit yet? If not, I have one and will gladly scan it and send it to you. This generator was built in the late 50's by my Dad and uses one 12AU7; it was part of the RCA "Radio-Television Electronics Course for home study".

Yes,the Data arrived and in good shape, Happy to receive the data!! I dropped the material in the shack , which is in the garage , no heat, so did not have retrieve your email. Having icy condx here. Many, Many thanks, that data I have not seen for some time!! I would like to reimburse you for the cost, If you will let me know. I built that RCA in 1957 as a GI ed.project. Must have done ok...it still works..
