Well i am just going back to school again and taking electronics.
I have only 2 question so far

1) Imagine a crystalline structure within a small block of silicon.
Will all the silicon atoms on the surface have 8 valenance electrons?
Why? I am lost on this one

2) Does an n-type semiconcuctor exhibit a negitive charge, or is it
electrically neutral? I thought n type semi con. were negitive

I know you guys don't do homework with out showing your work which is
a good thing

any help would be great thanks

Did you mean to ask about info on semiconductors or did you really
wanted to ask how computers are designed and how they work? They
actually are two separate things.

I can help with both cases but it'll help me respond if I know what to
focus on. Thanks!
