How many ways do you know how to share a something like a pcb design with friends to collaborate and make changes on? I’ve seen few. Outside of just sending a file or sharing it to a maker site. It seems like you need to have some high end software like Altium. I envy the GitHub coders and hope there is a way to share projects in the same vain of a repository. I’m starting a project with some school friends and we’re going to attempt to use allspice.io . It seems to fulfill this requirement. I’m curious if any one out there has had any experience with it or if they used any git like clients.

I envy everyone who provides information to the best of their abilities, ideally a repository of knowledge: Is there for the taking.
It's called the internet.
Have you ever walked into a library?

All the answers to your questions are there... but you don't know how to look, because you don't understand theory behind the question you are asking.
The answer to your specific question is located in this book located on Isle one.

Depends on what software you are using for PCB design.
But I can break it down to my original thoughts with a number two pencil & any piece of paper.
