Hi guys,

I want to use a PC SMPS rated at 280W to power my opamp circuits.
My question is that can I join the ground of the negative supply and
the ground of positive supply, both of them are black wires and
indicates ground (or zero potential?).The -12V is blue wire and +12V
is yellow wire and also planning to use filtering capacitors to make
the SVRR(Suply Voltage Rejection Ration) high.

Thank You,

Without power applied measure the resistance between the indicated ground
wires. if it is common you will find it measures 0 ohms and you will have no
problem joining them. However is they are independent, measures more than 0
ohms, it may cause an issue with ground looping, poor regulation, etc.
