Hello ive got this lenco DVP-937 as you see at the title i want to input my av video signal on this dvd player but theres no video input connector on it so i need to put it in the processing board but i dont know where there's also a little board on it i think its the lcd controller but there isn't any chip there. On the little chipboard are also IR leds for the ir headphones. On the mean processing board i broke the connector a little bit that lead tho the little board so it will be handy if a can input the signal on the little board but the damage is that big so it won't be a problem to put it in the main processing board Can anybody help me?

What you want to do is not clear. If this is a DVD player, why do you want to feed a video signal *into* it? DVD players make outputs, not inputs.

The player electronics might be too tightly integrated into the display electronics to find a clean insertion point. Also, usually those kinds of devices have ASICs (application specific ICs, what use to be called custom parts), so it will be very difficult to find data. The chipset might have external video input and switching capability, but finding it will be difficult.

from that response, I assume that the player has a built in display ?

in general I would still go with AK's response tho .....

It may be possible to do, but without very specific info on the electronics of the player, very, very difficult to achieve

That is expected. because it fit's that does not mean it is compatible. What you have is nothing more than a connector.
