Hi everyone,
I am currently working on an exciting project designing a medical lighting system for developing countries but a bit of an electronics biff.
I need to charge 10 AA NiMH batteries in a day via solar, lets assume its a sunny day. So in 8 hours to play it safe.
I have a few questions
What power solar panel do I need to get to achieve this?
I know I need to have a diode, which type is best?
I have a 10 AA battery holder which is connected to the LEDs, can i charge it in this? ie just reverse the flow back into the batteries from the solar panel?
Any other things I've missed or need to be aware of??
Many thanks
