Try compress music by Jean Michael Jarre into mp3. And you will notice the
flaws of mp3 ;)
I had to set bitrate to 256 kbps before it sounded properly.

In real life, directly from the gadget, it's totally inaudible to me.

The other thing I found interesting is that the "Gaussian noise",
which is actually a repeated (single-cycle pattern) of random values
superimposed over the main sinewave, doesn't sound a bit random.

I absolutely, definitely, totally refuse to use Realplayer. It's on
the top of my list of the most annoying spamwares of all time.
