Hey, I ordered NPN transistors and only realised they are sot23 after i paid so very small component..

How easy would it be to hand solder onto standard through hole stripboard? I'll be using a soldering iron with small bevel tip (no other tips atm)

It's not that hard, but it takes practice.

The worst but is that you need to hold the component to prevent it from sticking to the tip of your soldering iron!

One option is to solder all the pads, then hold the device on top of the position with forceps whilst reflowing the solder. Once one joint is done it's not going anywhere.

Just remember small component with short leads, so be quick.

Making it fit on standard strip board may be a slight challenge, but sot-23-3 should be doable without huge effort.
