Looking for electrolytic caps:
2200uF 100V rated at 105C - SIZE 22x50.. I just got my order from Mouser -
and the ones they sent me have bigger diameter. I checked their catalogue
more carefully - the only ones they carry are VR-rated Nichicon rated at
85C... I need VZ-rated Nichicons or similar :(

The only carrier I found that has them is Digikey, but I don't need anything
else from them right now, so they would charge me $8.50 on each cap, then
6.50 handling (because my order total will be below 32.50), 8.00 shipping
and 15% taxes on top of shipping and handling. That's just outrageous.

Are there any other suppliers of these capacitors in Canada or USA at
reasonable prices?

You got very good pricing, and service compared to a lot of places. This is
not a whole lot of money anyways...

I like DigiKey. I just ordered a bunch of electrolytic caps from them, and
have them shipped to Canada where I live. They have one of the cheapest
shipping charges I have ever seen on the Web--at least from a Canadian point
of view.

Generally speaking, if I order parts from companies in the U.S. (such as
Jameco), I will have to pay at least $5.00 customs handling fee (collected
by Canada Post on behalf of Revenue Canada) even if the company is willing
to ship via USPostalService. The nice thing about DigiKey--for Canadian
orders--is that they are willing to ship via Purolator courier, and
Purolator does not charge any extra/hidden customs handling fees or customs
brokerage fees at all. I paid exactly C$8.00 for shipping 50 caps to me, and
the package arrived at my door in 1.5 days! (Note: GST has to be paid
regardless of method of shipping.)

Your 2200uF caps are expensive because of the 100V rating. I suggest you
order enough of them or something else as well so that your total order will
be above $32.50. If you find a better place with a better shipping deal to
Canada, please let me know too. Thanks

It's not really about money - I just ordered couple hundred dollars worth of
parts, but I didn't realize that I needed these caps 'cause I thought I
ordered correct ones from Mouser :(
