Sourcing a Coil

I have been using a solenoid coil for a product I produce and I've been having to purchase an assembly and then rob the coil from it. I would like to purchase just the coil but I can't seem to source it anywhere. How would I go about finding a distributor for the coil? I know the dimensions for the coil including the bore. It is a 24vac coil that pulls about just over an amp - so prob 30 watt. It's 4.1 ohms and also 4.1 mh. Thanks.

You can get replacement coils for solenoid valves. Perhaps one of those would suit?

If changing the use of an AC solenoid coil, just ensure that the correct armature is used and it is seated when energized, other wise you will experience coil failure due to excess current, often better to use a DC coil if possible.
