Hi there :) I picked up a Bluetooth car stereo and when bluetooth is connected it emits a high pitched noise in all modes EXCEPT bluetooth (i.e music playback or phone call is fine until you change mode). This noise is constant on any volume above 1 and is audible when engine is off or if you put ears to speakers.

I reported this manufacture but they put it down to my set up/connections, however I've tested 2 units and multiple Bluetooth devices.

Does anyone have any idea? Perhaps it is some sort of power saving feature due to the fact it's clear when bluetooth mode is on. Modes are aux, bluetooth media, DAB, FM etc and it's Pure Highway 270.

I also noticed that the speakers give out abit of static feedback when nothing is playing (but as far as I'm aware all speakers/amps do this? - this noise increases as I turn volume up (while music is paused so I can actually hear it)
Can anyone go into abit of detail about that too?

Many thank in advance

Oh and all the wiring are factoring standards.
