That's because this "little symbol" shows your posts on Maker. PRO. You seem to have 4 posts there.
Whereas you are here in a sub-forum 1699616829377.png, formerly electronicspoint with 327 posts (and running).

I see, panic over! anybody have any ideas about charlieplexing and multiplexing with the esp32 and the 20 pins I need for the 320 LED's I'm using in my LED matrix which I'm making, and the FFT stuff, including that code that I posted ealier, with all the components that I may come accross and have to use and maybe shift registers transistors everything you can think of and just things I need to learn in general to do with this project, thanks.

Stick around kiddo! This party is just getting started.

Could you possibly snap a photo of your setup!
Or is this purely a simulation . Never mind now I'm up to post 111.

I have a fair few arduino's lying around, esp32's 4, nano's, 1 mega, 1 due, uno's tons of resistors 1/2 watt 1/4 watt, pots diodes zeners big ones small ones tons of caps - all shapes and sizes, wire and an annex iron, protoboard and lots of it transformers switches FET's tansistors bassically got the lot, IR2110 LM7805 555 4017 decade counter's led's I have the bar graph LED's on order, my friend has them just needs to send them, oscilloscope from china power resistors screen's lcd and a small high def one waiting for my touch TFT screen motors, lots of motors, tons of lego technics, the mega is elegoo and I bought the 50 projects for £50 got all sorts can take photo but not right now but I will I may even have some shift registers already because I have some plastic strips of IC chips that I havn't even looked at and LED's but could do with more glue gun, all sorts really!

I've got the parts to make the inverter just trying to find the time to build!
but I will be taking photos so watch this space!:)

Wow. You have any good electronic parts?
(Just kidding)
You're in the right place have you ever seen the documentary walking with dinosaurs? (Not kidding)
You're getting there I love you tenacity! Good job kiddo!

A long time ago yes where can you watch?
I live in Los Angeles California we have a science center / museum called the "La Brea tar pits" they actively dig up old dinosaur bones went on a field trip in grade school not too long ago. It's fascinating lots of information available like this website. But this website is better because my a active participant. In that museum I could only watch. I just had to tell you... thank you for posting this thread;it's filled with valuable information, thanks again.I got to go now bye.

sorry to repost I don't want the message to get lost in the comments history and kinda need some info thanks

The dinosaur documentaries are nice but, not really why I'm here!

so I think I have a few options, use LM3914 in conjunction with pass-band filters, made from opamps resistors and capacitors and positive negative power supply
multiplexing with shift registers
PWM of esp32 pins and LM3914, said to be a "quirky" approach
I still don't know how to use the program to be modified for the spectrum analyzer and the LED matrix of 16 columns by 20 rows, tell me If you need to see the code again. Ideas anyone?

charlieplexing and multiplexing with the esp32
The link below says RGB LED but you tell right away that's not the case once you read it. It'll take me time to catch up with you I'm on post 112.

No your correct I don't need it for RGB, just red! thanks for reply

anyone??

I' mnot using the chipset WS2812B FYI BTW

Any idea's people, really struggling I have been researching all day!

multiplexing with shift registers
PWM of esp32
Hold on a second,I'll see if I can find "anyone".
Multiplexing and shift registers.
That is what you must concentrate on. What you are doing is unique; your approach must be flexible, the resources, hardware the components themselves maybe limited so you must adapt. You're finding out the hard way what it takes to design simple circuits. Two simple circuits combined make a complex circuit.
You're asking for help in a design that has not been made yet and or is poorly documented. That's called being married to it. I just wanted to hit this thread... not marry it!
:)

Now I feel bad. I'll be reading the rest of your thread. It's going to take me time, I will throw out some ideas for you I really want to help. I will provide you with an explanation I.
I'll try to limit it to the components you have at hand, by the way do you have any soldering skills? That's going to be very important and I'm only asking cuz I don't know. Excuse grammar and spelling I'm on speech to text.

I'm very good at soldering to be fair don't worry about the components I have, I can always buy what I need I'm very greatfull!

this project uses 540 led's with an uno so I know that its more than possible because I'm using 320 on and esp32 but mine is a spectrum analyzer

I used to chip ps2 consoles with the DMS4 pro chips and have years of experience of soldering other bits and bobs, and when things are going wrong I have my trusty solder sucker

just looked trough some of my inventory, turns out I have 20 SN74HC595N shift registers to hand!

very good at soldering!

So we're now THIRTEEN pages into this thread and various solutions were covered in the original two pages by various contributors.

I don't know what else to add. Seems like you're looking for a 'kit'. Have you actually done anything with the suggestions already (long ago) made?

well I got confused about the FFT digital stuff and the analog stuff with the 74HC595 and the band pass filters and the rca jack in ultimately I want to have the thing work not too bothered of how to achieve it

are you still going to throw out ideas with explanations please

Was kind of looking for, "This is what you need to do, and this is how you do it!" and then a spice circuit diagram or asi file
