Hi all. Im building a saber with a plug in battery, however any impact causes a circuit break at the Jack. The Jack Is firmly in place and well connected but it still persists.
I suspect the negative contact inside the female is not enough to maintain a constant contact when it’s jolted. Is there a power Jack that has a larger or ideally full 360 degree negative coverage inside the female ? F8632633-1714-461B-A12B-FA3B5AE9EB4E.jpeg

Try the range of dc battery connectors as used in R/c gear.
XT30 for example....some are available with leads already fitted.

Consider XLR connectors too.

There is four pins type also to ensure redundance, and bulkhead. Same with speakon connectors. Perhaps you can use simple RCA type too.
