Would you mind looking at these photos and giving me any insight on how I might be able to get this sub running again?

http://imgur.com/a/4KWIW for photos.

https://www.elektrotanya.com/yamaha_yst-sw216.pdf/download.html for the schematic.

All I know is that my fat cat put his weight on the input RCA cable and it broke the middle part and the sub shorted in and out, then it just shorted out and stopped working completely. Please give me any advice that you can. Thank you so much.

Picture link doesn't work.

Please post a picture of your cat. I'd like to know how fat a cat has to be to destroy a RCA cable.

Replace RCA cable with a new one, and put your cat on a diet.

I'm not familiar with your woofer. This is what I'd do first:
1)Tha fios agaibh's advice to replace the cable (and consideration of cat diet)
2) Look for a fuse that might be blown in the woofer. A fuse would probably be there specifically to protect the woofer from fat cat attack.
3) I don't know your set-up, but whatever amp you're using may have lost a fuse in the speaker protection circuit.
The cable broke at the woofer, but it was being fed from the amp.
4) I'm hoping the fuses worked in your unit and that you don't have circuit damage, but you have to check the fuses first.
